Two in a Row
The weather here was amazing today, so I took advantage of it and brewed up a batch of beer that I had originally planned on making last summer. That makes two brewing weekends in a row! My fermenters are full, and I'll soon have an over abundance of beer.
I did some substitutions on the grain since I didn't have all the called for grain on hand, so it didn't turn out exactly how it was supposed to. I did, however, have the extra special, secret ingredient that attracted me to the receipe to begin with.
Do you recognize it? I don't know how it will make the beer taste, but it sure made the boiling wort smell good!
